WHAT ARE TURKISH TOWELS

Turkish towels are sometimes called Peshtemal, Hammam, or Fouta. They originated in Turkey and were a tradition when having a "Turkish" bath. These towels are made from high quality cotton and weaved on tradition looms, using various colours and thickness. Due to the fine weave they are made to be thin and lightweight however, highly absorbent wicking water away from the body. This also means they dry super fast.


HOW ARE TURKISH TOWELS DIFFERANT FROM EVERYDAY TOWELS?
Normal towels have a type of weave called a loop weave, this causes them to be thick and feel like your every day bathroom towel. Turkish Towels have a flat weave which allows them to be super soft, more absorbent, faster drying and thinner and compact in nature. It also allows them to get softer over time and stay more absorbent with prolonged use.


WHERE ARE TURKISH TOWEL CO'S PRODUCTS MADE?
All our products are made from the original source in Turkey. We have been sourcing the finest materials for a few years now and forever assessing the quality we receive. Not only do we ensure our manufacturing sources have a zero waste policy, ethical standards and fair trade agreements, we also insure our towels are holding the standards back home as well. We run a third party quality test on our towels every year, to ensure what we have manufactured is the quality our consumers expect.

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY TOWEL?
You don't need to wash them as much and can roll them up ready for next use. Try and limit the amount of washing as it can turn the tassels into threads. Give the tassels a simply twist and re-knot if they happen to come undone .Simply air dry or hang your towel where ever you can, as it's designed to dry super fast.

We use the Australia Post network to ensure your towel travels in first class. For peace of mind, we also include signature on delivery with all orders to make sure it arrives as safe as possible. Collection will be available from your local post office, if no one is home at the time of delivery.

All orders over $50 are free delivery, with a small $9 fee for anything under. We also have the option for Express Postage on all orders at checkout for $12.

Whilst we still experience some delays with the Australia Post network, a rough guide above on transit times after processing your order are above. In most Australia Post does a great job with delivery times. If getting closer to peak season, please keep in mind Australia Post can sometimes have delays.
