WHAT ARE TURKISH TOWELS?

Turkish towels are sometimes called Peshtemal, Hammam, or Fouta. They originated in Turkey as a tradition when having a "Turkish" bath. These towels are made from high quality cotton & weaved on tradition looms with various colours and thickness. Due to the fine weave, they are made to be thin and lightweight however, highly absorbent which wicks the water away from the body. This also means they dry super-fast.

WHAT SIZE ARE YOUR TURKISH TOWELS?

So glad you asked about the size! Our towels are 180 cm in length and 100 cm in width. This means you have most of your body lying on a towel. Nothing worse than having your legs hanging off the end of the towel, that's why we have the size that works! How's that for size!!!

ARE TURKISH TOWEL CO'S TOWELS ABSORBENT?

Glad you asked, yes super absorbent. We recommend washing your new Turkish towel a few times before you will get its best performance. The reason for this as it makes the cotton super soft & therefore becomes more absorbent. You might be used to the big bulky towel you’re currently using so don't stress, you'll need a few beach runs to get used to it.

WHAT SIZES DO YOU HAVE?

Most of our towels are 180 x 100. This can increase or decrease depending on the style of towel you choose to purchase. Simply check the product description to make sure of the correct size. As a standard 180cm x 100cm is the perfect fit. Our throw rugs for are example larger so it does depend on the style.

DO YOU USE OEKO- TEX PRODUCTS?

Yes, all our cotton's are Oeko-Tex certified & we pride our self on using the best materials available to market. Oeko-Tex is a worldwide consistent testing and certification system for textile products.

DOES THE COLOUR RUN IN MY NEW TURKISH TOWEL?

No, the colour won’t run in your new Turkish Towel, it can fade from long periods of sun use however that will take a while.

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY TOWEL?

We recommend keeping your towel clean at all possible times, you don't need to wash them as much & can roll them up ready for next use. Try and limit the amount of washing as it can turn the tassels into threads. If this happens you can simply twist & re-knot them. It’s pretty hard to beat them & you'll have it for a long time.

ARE THEY ECO FRIENDLY?

HOW LONG WILL A TURKISH TOWEL LAST?

WILL MY TOWEL SHRINK?

No, they won’t shrink. Some of our towels are designed & pre-washed to ensure this doesn't happen. Don't worry, you won’t lose it in the washing machine.
